HerbList. An evidence-based app to make informed choices about herbal supplements

Do you have questions about the safety and efficacy of an herbal remedy? An app recently released by The National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health will help you make a wise choice. The free app, called HerbList, provides evidence-based information on a wide range of herbal products.

Although the app provides the evidence behind the use of various herbal supplements, it does not make brand recommendations. To check the purity, amount, and adulteration of a particular brand, you seek the information elsewhere. I’ve found the independent ConsumerLab to be particularly useful in helping me find brands to recommend.
